primo show
like others said, a favorite show from taping days, and didnt even recall this show until hearing that killer jack straw opener. oh yeah, THAT show.
deal a highlight of show w/ jerry getting off bigtime.
2nd set is lovely w/ hot, crisp, confident jamming... major vocal flubs on UJB but part of the fun.
audio quality is fine, and worthy all around

First show
Such a life changing event! My first shoe of 107 at the ripe log age of 13. Jerry's hair was long and dark. And they came out w guns blazing. The Baby Blue closer capped off an epic night

1st Set = Holy Crap
Now while the second set is good, but not great, the first set is outstanding from start to finish. The band is tight and right on the mark all the way through. Jerry settles in early and delivers some really strong work in the 1st set, ending up with one of the better Deals from this period. Oh, yeah, and the sound quality is extremely crisp. This was one of my favorite tapes from the 80's and finding it here made my day. 5 stars for the 1st set, 4 for the second.
